To apply for the paid positions advertised under the American Red Cross Summer
Internship Program (click image at right) please follow the subsequent steps:
1.) Log on to www.redcross.org
2.) Click on the “Giving and Getting Involved” link located at the top of the page
3.) Click on the “Become an Employee” link
4.) Under the National Headquarters and Biomedical Services Opportunities link, select “Current Openings” link
5.) On the next page, select the following:

State: All
-
Country: United States
-
Area of Interest: “Interns” OR “Internship Program – Summer 2012"

Select the “All Posted Dates” option

When finished, press “Search"
6.) After reviewing the available internship positions, select as many internship opportunities as you desire by checking the box(es) immediately to the left side of the internship posting number.
7.) Select “Submit to Jobs”
8.) If you have an account on the RedCross.org career website, enter you email address and password (if you do not have an account, select the link to create an account by following the appropriate prompts).
9.) Create a user profile, submit your resume and complete the entire online application.
10.) Upon completion of the application and profile, an email will be sent to you confirming that you have successfully completed the online part of the application process.
11.) If you are selected for an interview, please be advised that you will be responsible for providing a list of references and an official transcript from your college/university
The interview process will be completed by April 20, 2012, and interns will be selected and notified by April 30th, 2012, for both the paid and un-paid positions.
